My husband, Walter, farms and ranches what was his family’s farm. He has changed the landscape during his time as operator. What once was a mix of grain and cattle has now become predominately a cattle operation. Our soils and limited moisture seem to be better suited to hay production and pastureland. Walter is actively involved with our local and state Conservation District and is constantly working towards being a good steward of the land.

Our oldest son is presently working and living in the Philippines. He and his wife have one daughter. Our daughter and her husband live in California. Our youngest son is working in the Minneapolis area. We are “empty nesting” with our beagle Emmy and black cat Jet.

A three day workshop with a weaver in Eastern Montana started what has become an ongoing passion with fiber and fabric structure. The early 80’s and 90’s found me weaving and spinning for exploration of technique and skills. During the mid 90’s, I purchased my first AVL production loom and began weaving for other designers. Over the years looms and more contracts have been added.
